Stain Removal Procedure: Removing Other Stains

Removing Other Stain
1. Assess clothes with stains if its been there for quite sometime. If that's the case nothing can be done.

There are different kinds of stains:
2. If it's just within the first 12 hours it can be removed
a. Blood Stains - removal by direct application of blood stain remover solution or vinegar
b. Sauce Stains - removal by direct application of colorsafe bleach or calamansi
c. Soiled Stains - removal by soaking

3. Pour directly to stain spot colorsafe bleach or calamansi into the spot.
4. Set it for a while.
5. Hand wash with running water.
6. Repeat the solution until stain is completely removed.

Stain Removal Procedure: Removing Yellow

Removing Yellow
1. Fill water 0.5 feet above the level of clothes.
2. Heat water into warm level.
3. Add 40gms sour powder into warm water.
4. Stir.
5. Add 40gms of powder detergent into warm water.
6. Stir.
7. Pop-in clothes into solution.
8. Soak until you have seen clothes whitens.
9. Tumble down the top portion of clothes for even whiter result.

Washing of Colored Clothes

1. Separate whites from colored clothes.
2. Tag clothes with color coding.
3. Make sure to tag the Job Order with color coding.
4. Record all items to log-book for quantities of each items.
5. Check pockets if there's personal items belongs to owner and put it to ziplock plastic to be rerurn to owner whether cash, check or other personal items.
6. Turn clothes inside and out.
7. Put small items like socks, underwear and bra to laundry mesh so as not to intervene with the washer during washing time.
8. Pop-in clothes evenly to washing machine.
9. Measure 40ml of liquid or 40gms of powder detergent soap for every 3 kilos of laundry.
10. Measure 40ml of fabric conditioner for every 3 kilos of laundry.
11. Set washing machine to desired setting either delicate, perma press or regular wash. If comforter, curtain or branded clothes, set to delicate.
12. Washing time takes 30 minutes and drying time takes 45 minutes for regular clothes.
13, While waiting for clothes to be finished tag other items.
14. Pack clothes with jeans and towels at the bottom and all clothes on the top, while underwear, bra and socks at the middle.
15. Pack it, recount and seal it temporarily for recounting of laundry clothes upon claiming in presence of customers.

Washing White Clothes

1. Separate whites from colored clothes.
2. Tag clothes with color coding.
3. Check pockets.
4. Turn clothes inside and out.
5. Soak white clothes to basin using white solution:
    5.1 Water on the brim of basin
    5.2 Powder detergent soap
    5.3 Chlorine solution 40ml
    5.4 Stir first solution before soaking clothes
6. Soak it for at least one hour or most overnight.
7. When top dirt looses you can pop-in clothes to washing machine or hand wash the spot where top dirt located.
8. Measure 40ml of liquid or 40gms of powder detergent soap for every 3 kilos of laundry.
9. Measure 40ml of fabric conditioner for every 3 kilos of laundry.
10. Add Chlorine Solution 40ml for every 3 kilos of clothes.
11. Washing time takes 30 minutes and drying time takes 45 minutes for regular clothes.
12. When finished reconcile whites with other clothes based on color coding of tags.
13. Pack it, recount and seal it temporarily for recounting of laundry clothes upon claiming in presence of customers.

Meeting with Staff 17Oct16

Attendance: Pet, Gean, Joyce and myself

-Sudden decline of transactions
Customer leave us because of the following:

1. Quality of our Work - Either it's not good smell or not thoroughly dry
2. Something is missing - One of their stuff is missing
3. Friendliness - How warm we welcome them
4. Timeliness - If they come and don't have their laundry it's a turn off
5. Consistency - Every time they go and avail our service they get the same excellent service and quality of work

-Reporting of Trnsactions
1. Manual Reporting of DTR and Cash Report
2. Encoding of the same report and save it to cloud

-Schedule
1. Swap of schedule i.e. Joyce will take the opening 8am - 4pm, Pet will take the midshift 10-6pm and Gean for closing shift 1-7pm. Except for day-off and sudden increase of customers

2. Schedule of Gean was reduce to 6 hours but on the positive note she can go to work for marketing to earn thru commission for every account she gain.

-Assessment
Identification of problem based on the acronym TEAM (Training, Equipment, Attitude, Manpower)
in our case our equipment cannot deliver the demand.

Operation Procedure

1. Greet customer warmly
2. Receive customer's laundry
  2.1 weigh
  2.2 count items
  2.3 explain terms & conditions
  2.4 fill-up job order form
  2.5 let them sign the job order accepting our terms & conditions
3. Tag clothes by creating tag under their name or unique color of thread under their name
4. Thank the customer and wish them to come again

5. Record all items to logbook
6. Separate whites to color and wash it separately
7. Soak whites using bleach solution
8. Wash whites and colored separately
9. Set washer to regular wash 
10. Pour liquid detergent 40ml for every 3kls
11. Start
12. Pour fabcon 40ml for every 3kls after rinse
13. Let it stay for 5mins
14. Start
15. When finished put all laundries to dryer for drying
16. Set to 40mins for drying
17. Random check if clothes are dried
18. Let it dry for another 5mins until dry
19. Fold laundries
  19.1 jeans and towel at the bottom
  19.2 blouse and shirts at the top
  19.3 underwears, bras at the middle
20. Pack laundry according to sizes


21. Label package with customer job order no., name, balance if any
